I see Life Coaches advertised sometimes, don't have a clear idea of what they do.There are also a lot of influencers who act like life coaches and refer to themselves as such. Coach Oliver explains what a coach does and why the coaching profession is unique. A coach's job is more than what you see on the surface. I have watched every episode of the TV series House, MD but I don’t feel any more qualified to comment on a doctor’s performance than I did before watching. It is one of the unique parts of coaching sport that everyone who has played or watched a sport feels the opposite. Most people, despite never having trained as a coach, feel qualified to comment…a lot. I get it, playing a sport and experiencing it from that perspective is different than never having performed a surgery. It is not like people are recreational doctors. But the demands placed on a coach at all levels of sport are out of whack. Don’t get me wrong I respect doctors as much as any other profession. This is not a commentary on that profession, or any other. It takes great dedication and commitment to become a doctor. However the kill/save percentage of doctors are not published in the newspaper. Every specific test score of a teacher’s students is not blogged about and discussed on message boards. I am grateful to be a coach. I do something I am passionate about every day.

Without all the fluff around it, it boils down to this.Coaching, however, focuses on getting clarity, working through mental blocks, planning toward the future, and expanding your impact by pushing you to grow beyond your comfort zone. It inevitably touches on some mindset and behavioral topics that therapy(especially Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, aka CBT) also does, but the approach towards those topics differs in both practices.Coach asks the client questions that no one in your life usually would ask you. That's what unlocks a lot of insights for a client — getting asked those questions and then having a safe space to share their thoughts. Additionally, people usually don't get this 100% focused listener who is unafraid to say out loud the difficult things, to challenge them so directly while holding their agenda so firmly.Coaches keep you accountable, and that accountability works wonders! Do you remember the last time you managed to keep a streak for your gym/sports session, just because your buddy signed up for it with you, and now you both drag each other out to the gym — exactly!

I'm a sales associate at Coach. Here's how I spot fake bags — it's easier than you'd think.

Most Coach bags have a leather creed or story patch, which is a leather patch inside a bag that's embossed with the bag's serial number and history. Some people try to make fakes of these patches, but they don't really work. First, I check the material of the hang tag, which every Coach bag has come with for decades. An authentic bag should have a tag made of the exact leather used on the bag. It should also feel thick. To me, a flimsy, low-quality hang tag often screams a bag is fake: The leather often doesn't match the bag and is very thin. There are exceptions — for example, some types of Coach bags don't have style patches or were released before the hang tag became a staple — but here's what I look for when authenticating a bag.As a sales associate at Coach, I wasn't fully taught how to spot fake bags during my training process, but I've learned how as I go.I wasn't fully taught how to spot fake bags during my training process, but I've found many employees learn as they go.
